If the materials upon which our creations are based are so beautiful, it is thanks to the commitment of all the men and women who take such good care of the animals who provide them.

RARITY IS VALUED

We begin with these materials and their availability to design our products, not the other way around. We prefer to produce irreproachable models in short runs rather than large quantities of imperfect pieces. Sometimes our products will go out of stock, but we have no intention of exhausting the natural supply to avoid this.

THE BEST THAT NATURE HAS TO OFFER

Our mohair comes exclusively from angora goats at La Bastide de Sérou, raised in the open air in the heart of the Pyrenees. Over more than 30 years, we have noticed just how much the quality of the wool depends on the quality of life of the animals. And the quality is there for all to see: meticulous care, natural healthy feed, and essential oils for the well-being of the animals. Even the shearing is carried out by hand in the gentlest possible way.
The finest fleeces, meticulously sorted and selected result in some of the finest and most beautiful mohair in France. Quality that is unique and therefore limited as a result.

TRANSPARARENCY GUARANTEES OUR HIGH STANDARDS

In the same way, and even though our partner spinning mills already provide us with certificates guaranteeing respect for animal welfare, we are seeking to create other partnerships with farming cooperatives that share our values. It is a long-term task, but the will of our team is inexhaustible.

MOHAIR AND SILK, A SUPER-SOFT BLEND

We have chosen mohair, a very rare wool (1% of total production of natural fibres), for its exceptional qualities. Mohair is both soft and light, but also a hard-wearing and naturally heat-regulating fibre that is pleasant to wear in summer and in winter. At the heart of our yarn is a silk thread, chosen for its absolute regularity, its sheen and its shine. This blend results in ideal softness and resistance as well as a look with shimmering colours. The fluffy nature of mohair also adds to the seventies feel of the creations.

BABY ALPACA, A RARE SOFTNESS

Alpaca wool is a rare material - one alpaca only produces two to three kilos of wool per year - but its fleece provides one of the finest and most highly valued fibres in the world. Once the preserve of Inca nobility, it comes mainly from the Altiplano region of South America where alpacas live wild at over 4,000 metres above sea level. Baby alpaca wool is an even rarer version that is lightweight and hard-wearing as well as soft and silky. It is comparable to cashmere but with greatly superior body and heat-regulating qualities. Baby alpaca wool is a real treasure. It is warm in winter and cool in hot weather thanks to microscopic pockets of air in the fibre.
