There are the goats, the shepherd and their wanderings, then the Italian spinning mills, the overlockers and their attention to detail, the designer and their imagination...

But before all that, there is a small plant: alfalfa (or 'luzerne' in French).

It is packed with proteins, vitamins and mineral salts and constitutes a rich balanced feed for the goats who, in return, provide their beautiful wool. Its long roots enable it to withstand drought, and cultivating it also improves soil quality and promotes biodiversity.

Called "Little Light" in the Occitan language, alfalfa is both a starting point and a source of inspiration.
